Hello!
First-off thanks for taking the time to review my very first blog!
This blog was originally created as an accumulation of my writing for the Writing 100 – Introduction to College Writing at the University of Michigan. However, the long-term goal of this blog is not only limited to the requirements of my writing of a single course, but all of my compositions during my tenure at the University of Michigan.
The layout of the Writing 100 portfolio consists, of 5 main bodies of work under the Writing 100 course. I have included in each of those bodies of work the original assignment sheet, as well as a personal reflection of the writing after I completed the assignment. Hopefully, with the combination of both of these pieces of information, it will provide you with better background information. Or simply, you can read the main articles and not even worry about the additional information!
In addition, this blog can also be used to help get a sense of what your first writing course may be if you decide to come to Ann Arbor, Michigan and take this course. If you never visited the area before, I highly recommend that you take a campus visit and view the area and it’s rich cultural aspects. I have included the video below, for you to get a sense of what it is like to be at Michigan.
